How do I change insurers?

How can I insure my artwork?
Most insurers will allow up to $15,000 per piece of Artwork covered as Standard under your policy. If, however, you feel you have items worth more than this amount, let your Able Insurance Consultant know and they can have it specified on your schedule.

Yes, we are able to help with all your Business Insurance needs including Business Insurance packs, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Commercial Motor Packages.
Do you provide public liability insurance ?
Yes, we can insure your Public Liability either separately or as part of a Business Insurance package. You can apply for $5m, $10m or $20m cover and also include goods in your care, custody or control.
Do you provide landlord's insurance

Can you insure my boat?
Yes, we can insure your fishing boat right through to luxury yachts and speed boats.
Which insurers do you use?
We have over 50 insurers and underwriting agencies to choose from including major insurers TIO, CGU & QBE. Depending on your situation, we will find the cover that best suits your needs at the most competitive premium.
Can I pay my premiums monthly?
Depending on your situation and your insurer, a large range of insurers will allow you to pay monthly with no additional fees. Speak to your Able Insurance consultant on whether you will qualify for monthly premiums.
Is it cheaper to pay my insurance annually?
Generally speaking, there are no discounts for paying your insurance annually. However, depending on your situation and your insurer, a large range of insurers will allow you to pay monthly with no additional fees or costs. Can I increase my excess to lower my premium?
One of the most effective strategies to reduce your premiums is to take advantage of amending your excess higher. By “self-insuring” a larger part of your first portion of your insurance, the excess, you will reduce your premiums by up to 40%.
How do I make a claim?
As an customer of Able Insurance we will look after all your claim requirements to ensure your claim is promptly looked after by your insurer. We will liaise with the insurer and repairer to make sure your claim is settled in a timely manner.
Do I get a discount if I have all of my insurance policies together?
Depending on your insurance setup you could be eligible for Multi Risk discounts of up to 10%. Once you add all your risks on, this can add up to some large premium savings.

Can you insure my jewellery?
Most insurers will allow up to $2,500 per piece or set of Jewellery covered as Standard under your policy. If, however, you feel you have items worth more than this amount, let your Able Insurance Consultant know and they can have it either specified on your schedule or added as a valuable item.
Can I insure item I take outside of my home?
Yes, insurers will have limits in which they will cover as standard under their policy. However, if you feel these items will be over the specified limits, contact your Able Insurance consultant and they can discuss placing this as a valuable item on your policy, for a small premium increase.
Do you do travel insurance?
We are able to provide Corporate and Domestic Travel packages for yearly Travel Insurance options. Speak to your Able Insurance consultant today for further options.
